Important: MusicCoach AI analysis is an assistive practice tool. It is not guaranteed to provide perfect musical transcription, and timing/rhythm feedback is usually more reliable than exact note or chord detection. Please have these policies reviewed by a qualified professional for your country before relying on them.

1. Who we are

MusicCoach ("we", "us") provides an AI-powered music practice coach. Contact: support@musiccoach.site.

2. What we collect

  • Account data: name, email, password (stored only as a secure hash), profile photo and practice preferences you choose to add.
  • Recordings: audio or video files you upload for analysis.
  • Analysis results: scores, feedback, practice plans and progress data.
  • Billing data: plan, payment status and receipts. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never stored on our servers.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type and security logs (e.g. login attempts) to protect your account.

3. How we use your recordings

Your recording is sent securely to our AI provider (Google Gemini API) only to produce your analysis. Recordings are stored in a private folder with random file names, are never public and are never shared with other users. Recordings are deleted automatically 30 days after upload; your scores and feedback remain in your account. You can delete any analysis and its recording at any time.

4. Legal basis

We process your data to provide the service you signed up for (contract), to keep the service secure (legitimate interest) and where required by law.

5. Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run MusicCoach: hosting, the AI provider, the payment provider and email delivery. We do not sell your personal data.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data. Update your profile in your account or email us to request a copy or full deletion of your account.

7. Security

We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, CSRF protection, rate limiting and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your data.

8. Children

MusicCoach is intended for users aged 16 and over, or younger users with a parent's or guardian's permission.

9. Changes

We may update this policy and will show the new date at the top of this page.
